From the first day of autumn, the long-awaited classes for primary school-age children (grades 1-4) began in Prague. This project, organized by the Integra charitable foundation under the leadership of Borys Deket, is aimed at creating a safe, comfortable environment for children, where they can not only gain knowledge, but also feel part of the community. This initiative has become a vital contribution to supporting Ukrainian families who have found refuge abroad.
First class: first impressions and discoveries
The first class was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The children, having gathered in bright playrooms and classrooms, have already managed to get acquainted with teachers and new friends, received their first tasks and plunged into the world of interesting knowledge. The foundation’s teachers have prepared interactive games, interesting tasks and creative projects that help children not only learn, but also develop their abilities by collaborating with other participants.
A day full of interesting things
In addition to the educational component, children have the opportunity to participate in master classes, watch cartoons and spend time in creative activities. Interesting excursions help children discover new places and learn more about the culture of the country that has accepted them, as well as stay in touch with Ukrainian cultural traditions.
Care and support for children and parents
One of the important aspects of the program is the social and psychological support that the Integra Foundation provides to both children and parents. Each little participant receives a delicious lunch that helps maintain strength for the whole day. If necessary, psychological assistance is available to children and their parents, which is an important part of adaptation and emotional support during this difficult period.
What’s next?
Throughout the year, children will have the opportunity to continue attending these classes, communicate, learn and develop in a friendly circle of peers and under the guidance of experienced teachers. The success of this project was made possible thanks to the efforts of Borys Deket and the Integra Foundation team, who are doing their utmost to create a real sense of home and support for the displaced children.
We are sincerely glad that the classes have begun and will continue to bring benefit, inspiration and joy to each of our participants.
